Candace

Earlier today I shot Candace’s senior portraits and we had so much fun!

Candace is such a sweetheart. She’s really into photography and wanted some “cute, girly, frilly, pictures as well as some graffiti backgrounds” and I think we totally rocked it! We still have one more part to her “Totally You” session and I can’t wait to spend some more time with you and your family, Candace!

Yes, I know your hair is a little out of place, but I still LOVE this picture! :)

Once again, Celestial Williams did an amazing job with make-up. Thanks, Celestial!

Jodi Hatfield did Candace’s hair and you can find all the cute outfits Candace is wearing at Blossom in downtown Mesa.

I absolutely love these photos-everything from her clothes to her makeup, to the location…it all came together beautifully, and the ones in the gray dress by the truck are gorgeous!

Kelly and Brad: Wedding

Kelly called me just a couple of weeks ago to see if I could photograph her wedding. Luckily was available and I am so happy I was able to be a part of her wedding. It was a very intimate wedding which took place in her mom’s backyard. Everyone was just having such a great time.

Even though I wasn’t present for the getting ready portion of the day, when I saw Kelly’s shoes I asked if she would take them off for a quick shot. She obliged and here’s what I got:
Some sweet moments after the ceremony:

Brad’s favorite shot (because he got to hold the flowers :D ):
Her youngest son:
Her beautiful daughters:
Some cake fun:

And just a few more portraits:

Kelly and Brad, it was so nice to meet you. Thank you for being so much fun :)

Mary & Bret: Wedding

Posted in wedding

Cristi Owen

Mary and Bret got married yesterday at Ashley Manor and I could have not asked for a better bride and groom to start off the year for me. To make it even better, some of my favorite people were there as well. Celestial was Mary’s make-up artist and Scott Swanson was their officiant. If I had to choose one word to describe the whole day, it would have to be peace. Everyone was just so calm, loving and peaceful. The day was perfect, partly cloudy, warm and with a nice breeze.  It was perfect. It really was!

Getting ready:

The girls:

The guys:

The gorgeous bride:

A few details:

The ceremony was very touching and funny:

Married:

I love the emotions on this one:

Just a few portraits:

And for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Strong:

The reception was at the McCullough-Price House and details were so clean, simple, elegant and gorgeous all at the same time. I loved the organic feel of everything:

I loved this series:

Well, you two, I hope you get to see these before you leave on your honeymoon to the Cook Islands. Have a wonderful time and enjoy the beginning of your lives together as husband and wife.
