I posted a sneak peak from this session a few days ago and I may have gotten carried away with this post. These two were so great together I just couldn’t help it. And their perfect-for- an-engagement-session outfits didn’t hurt either.

I couldn’t pick a favorite from this series, so you get to see them all…

The perfect way to kick off 2012 engagement sessions

Yesterday I photographed my first engagement session of the year and it was the perfect way to get things started and hopefully set the tone for 2012!

I got to photograph Gina and her fiancée Brandon and the best part is that this is the third time I got to do so. No, they didn’t have three engagement sessions, but Gina was a bridesmaid at two of the weddings I photographed before.

So here’s a little history for you:

And now Gina as a bride to be with her fiancée yesterday:

LOVED meeting these two! So much fun!

And as quickly as it came, it went away and there was almost a rainbow…Jamie and Nick, I had SO much fun with you both. Thank you for being amazing and just going with the flow (or in this case, with the rain). I really wish I could photograph your wedding, but I know it will be amazing and I can’t wait to see the photos.

Sofia and Chase Engaged

Such an honor to photograph these two! Earlier this year I photographed Chase’s sister’s engagement session, which you can see here: Caitlin and Adam. When Sofia called me a few days later about photographing her wedding and explained she was engaged to Caitlin’s brother, I was so excited to meet them. There’s nothing better than to photograph weddings within the same family. LOVE it!

We photographed their session at Sofia’s parent’s home and their dog, Genevieve, sneaked in a few photos:

Annie & Josh Engaged

You know the saying “they are meant for each other”? Well these too are the very definition of it. It was so great to watch them together and just be in awe of how compatible they are.

They chose to go back to the place where Josh proposed in Sedona and I had the pleasure of spending the day with them there. We ate, we laughed, we almost fell in the river and we took a few photos too.

Jackie and Luis Engaged!

Jackie and Luis wanted to have photos taken at the exact spot where Luis proposed and luckily for me that meant a trip to New York City!

I had so much fun with these two. Here are some of the images from our day together. More on the trip coming to the blog later this week.

Lindsey and Ryan Engaged

Lindsey and Ryan are getting married this July in Sedona and I’m so excited to be a part of their day. Lindsey’s mom was my boss in my last job as a dietitian a few years ago and it’s just so great to be back in touch for such a special reason. It gives me a “coming full circle” type of feeling :).

Lindsey and Ryan had some pretty specific ideas of what they wanted for their session so I’m keeping most of them private for them.

We started their session at the Boojum tree which has a really great rustic type of feel that I think will match their Sedona ceremony perfectly.

We also had some fun with the signs they had for ceremony, dancing, reception, etc. Maybe they will be able to incorporate them into their wedding day.

Their boxer Daisy definitely took center stage for part of our shoot since she’s such a big part of their lives:

Megan and Richard Engaged

I am so excited to be photographing Megan and Richard’s wedding next April! Megan was one of Roushan’s bridesmaids last December and I remember noticing Megan and Richard during the reception and they were just so sweet with each other. Since then, Richard has proposed, Megan said yes and I am very excited to have the honor to document a little bit of their story for them. By the way, doesn’t she look so gorgeous both brunette and blonde!

Thanks guys! Can’t wait to see you again :)

Caitlin and Adam Engagement Session

Loved getting to know these two! They are just so comfortable with each other and required no direction from me whatsoever. They are just naturally this adorable 100% of the time!

Jessica and Hunter Engaged!

On the day of Jessica and Hunter’s engagement session I got to meet most of their families and it’s very easy to see why these two are so incredibly awesome. We had initially planned on going to Jerome for their session, but the roads were supposed to be icy and windy (not a good combo), so they decided to just go ahead with the session at their parents house and around the Market Street area. Most people would be pretty bummed with the last minute change of plans, but not these two. We still had a really great time and I know it’s not Jerome, but I still love the images we were able to create.

Jessica is a supermodel. Well, not officially, but she still knows how to work it.
